Giving a Hand Up
Grinding poverty, lack of education, lack of opportunities and lack of creativity keep many new believers in a cycle of poverty and discouragement. They need a hand up not a hand-out. Microdevelpment projects provide job training, tools, small loans and mentoring coupled with discipleship. This allows people to change their lives and become responsible citizens. Empowering individuals to changes begins with a vibrant and living relationship with God established through repentance, forgiveness of sin and discipleship. This continues on with equipping people with skill and tools necessary to bring about meaningful change in their own financial situation and requires hard-work on the part of the individual who wants to see a breakthrough.
